Tour timeline
Conveniently placed at the beginning of Križna luka, we meet up at the sailing club Zvir for our safety briefing and gear set-up.
Meeting time for this tour is 9:15 AM daily or based on capacity.
With safety being our priority, first we will spend some minutes learning about the basics of kayaking, sea procedures and the gear we will be using. After setting up the gear and applying the last sunscreen before setting off we will be ready for our adventure.
Seaworthy and all geared up, we set out to paddle the rugged shore of Hvar island, following its majestic cliffs west-bound. After about 45 minutes of paddling we reach the beautiful Vela Garška bay where we takeout and set-off for some exploration on foot.
Short walk from our landing spot we stumble upon some donkeys and fawns if we are lucky since this is one of the spots we visit due to it being a nature reserve. We take a short hike to reach a private beach to reward ourselves and to enjoy the calmer side of Hvar.
All rested up and re-energized we continue our paddle by crossing to the Pakleni islands to visit a beautiful Mlini beach. Time for snorkeling, having lunch at a peaceful island restaurant and relaxing is given here.
We end our experience with a relaxing paddle back to the base for a circular tour. After another portion of about 45 minutes of kayaking we are ready to get back to land and pack up.
